Hemmingway - Oil Painting

Ernest Hemmingway
Original oil painting, by Vincent Keeling
30x30cm, oil on linen, unframed

"I recently watched the excellent Ken Burns and Lynn Novick documentary on Hemmingway and found myself quite moved by it. The adventure, the relationships, his unquestionable creativity and talent, but also that darkness and tragedy too. For me this image captures something of the early promise of a man in his prime looking to the future." Vincent Keeling
